Find out more at www.thethinkers.com What You Will Be Doing:Develop an understanding of clients' needs and expectations, their business and industry, accounting and control systems, employees, company values and industry specific GAAP and GAAS issues.Be involved in the planning and conduct of annual audit, review and compilation engagements with a wide variety of clients.Help prepare financial statements.Effectively utilize our paperless work flow systems.Work directly with client management and our team to perform attest services.Identify and assess risks and evaluate the client's internal control structure.Work with our audit teams to identify and resolve client issues discovered during the audit process.Assist in the preparation of engagement reports, including findings and recommendations.Assist other specialists on tax, due diligence and consulting projects. As an auditor/accountant at LLG, you’ll work on all aspects of engagements, participate in continuing education, and continue to get the necessary on-the-job training to grow professionally. Qualifications:We are looking for a professional with a personality and an upbeat outlook to join our team and help service the needs of our client base.Applicants should be motivated and reliable and have 1-3 years of experience in a public accounting firm and currently be seeking or holding a CPA license or striving to obtain the 150 hour requirement to complete the CPA exam.Strong inter-personal skills, including the capability to effectively present information and respond to clients’ needs.Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.Pride in their work and appearance.Desire to advance their careers.Knowledge of Caseware and PPC Smart/ E-Tools Practice Aids is a plus.EOE
