Nice looking White Sewing Machine that's unique & rare.. Not sure its age but it looks like the train locomotive is from 1950s or 1960s . These machines were made in Japan for White. It has a left aligned needle. It will sew a full width zig-zag, progressing from the left instead of centered as most machines on the market. Threading the machine is very typical for the era. It uses a push button for reverse. The white buttons on the lower right raise and lower the feed dogs.
This is a great heavy duty industrial strength sewing machine; solid unit and heavy as a boat anchor, smooth, quiet, and goes through leather very well. It's a great performer.
It comes with the table / desk with the built-in cabinet. It looks like the legs are solid wood but the top is made of some kind of pressed wood with dark wood finish. The top folds out to create work space on the left hand side. The top when folded is in bad cosmetic shape with scratches and some water damage but when folded out it's in decent shape. You can put some kind of nice table cloth on it when not in use and it will look nice.. The dimensions of the top when closed is 23" x 17.5" (46" x 17.5" with top unfold). It's about 30-31" high.
The machine is as pictured. Anything not pictured is not included. Currently missing the belt but the needle and the foot are included.
