This position will mainly entail offline programing. Having knowledge of welding is a plus but not necessarily required. You will work directly with one of our head engineers on the programming. Any experience with Fanuc robots is a plus as that is primarily what will need programming.Develop and maintain information for new and current production parts on robotic welders(Panasonic and Fanuc).- Develop and maintain programs and check parts to make sure they meet specifications.- Robot and PLC interface code development and debug.- Document and organize all technical details.Education:- Robotic Welding Programmer trade school or apprenticeship training is preferred.- CWI certification preferred.Experience:- Minimum 1-year Robotic programming experience- Knowledge of basic weld parameters and torch angles(Not Required)- Robot and PLC interface code development and debug experience.- Experience with Panasonic and Fanuc robots is a must.- Knowledge of 3D modeling software(Pro/E Preferred) not required but preferred.
