We are currently seeking a Sediment Remediation Engineer to join our Chicago, IL office.
This position will involve engineering analysis and design; construction oversight; planning and overseeing field studies; modeling; engineering analysis; report preparation; construction document preparation; proposal writing project and personnel management.

Required Experience
The ideal candidate should have 7-10 years of experience
Additional knowledge and experience with some or several of the following fields is preferred:
Contaminated sediments
Aquatic restoration
Dredging and sediment disposal
Port operations and development
Aquatic-based regulations and permits
Surface water quality evaluations
Storm water management
Numerical studies of coastal processes
Modeling and restoration designs;
Design of coastal/river structures;
Hydrologic/hydraulic analysis.
B.S. with continued coursework or an M.S. degree in coastal, geotechnical, environmental, civil, hydraulic, or related engineering fields.
P.E. certification is preferred. Preliminary work towards P.E. certification is required.
Additional desired experience:
Preparation of feasibility studies for large complex remediation projects
Experience with contaminated sediments highly desirable
Design of soil and groundwater remediation systems
Development of engineering estimates, plans and specifications
Strong project and personnel management skills a must
