Description:
Responsible for providing engineering support to customers and internal organization. Additional responsibilities include product and service development as well as marketing.

 Respond to specific inquires from customers such as Die & Mold design engineers, Die & Mold maintenance and purchasing for assistance in selecting the correct component for their applications.
 Communicates between US and Headquarters in Japan on a regular basis.
 Work on catalog and website projects containing creation of catalog pages, technical specifications, pricing table, dimensional table and extensive translation.
 Work with customers on establishing the required specifications for potential new product.
 When developing new product, work with suppliers on manufacturing requirements, packaging, pricing, delivery, workflow, and first article inspection when needed.
 Review quote requests and decide manufacturing feasibility as well as prepare and submit requests.
 Marketing activity for business expansion in Press Die and Injection Mold industry.
 Help customers expedite manufacturing in special cases.
 Answer customer phone calls/emails regarding technical support, orders and quotes for product services and websites.
 Provide help to the sales personnel regarding technical issues, customer support and promotional
activities.
 Work on special quotations for customers requiring components outside the catalog specifications.
 Help proofread or create technical/marketing materials, brochures, emails and web contents.
 Internal training-Create and present training material to sales, customer services, inside sales and other internal groups.
 Collect competitor and supplier’s information.
 Traveling is expected 10% within the U.S. (including Canada, Mexico).
 Manage multiples projects and assignments individually or as a project leader.
 Analyze the profitability, structures of costs and QCDVS performance for Press, Auto and Mold components based on sales data and market information.
 Other duties as assigned by the employer.

 Requires a bachelor’s degree in business or mechanical engineer.
 Intermediate level (5 -10 years work experience), 3 – 5 years of press dies, plastic mold and steel industry especially automotive field preferred.
 Prior sales experience to tool or die making companies or metal stamping company preferred.
 Strong communication and problem solving skills.
 Strong performance record in achieving results.
 Prior experience working with Japanese companies a plus.
 Logical thinking and analytical skills required.
 Good command of MS-Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
