Authentic 1898 letterhead pertains to American Detective Association which purports to be the "Largest Independent Detective Association in the World" according to the description in upper-right corner.

Letterhead's top-center graphic depicts a sheriff's badge designed like the U.S. flag and emitting sunbursts as it sits upon a cloud bank.

A separate graphic at upper left depicts a woman with long, flowing hair and dressed in a full-length Roman toga holding a sword in one hand and the Scales of Justice in her other hand, which is outstretched. The phrase "Justice for All" arcs above the woman's head.

Letterhead also states that the American Detective Association was founded in 1889 and has its home office in Indianapolis.

Document is in Excellent condition with no flaws. Measures 10 15/16 X 8 3/8 inches.

Flatfoot, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
