This platter in the 'Florette' pattern was originally made by the The Jeannette Glass Company (Jeannette, Pennsylvania) in the 1950s. It was produced to exact specifications and proportions again in 1990.
This oval platter measures 11" by 16" and features gold florettes and stars along the rim. It has a tree-shaped indention in the center and a well at one end to allow juices or fat from meats to drain rather than puddling underneath them. It's in perfect vintage condition with no chips, cracks or fleabites.
The brass warming stand is 3" high and 18" from handle to handle. It has two fixed brass cups for candles and the handles are made of walnut.
This is such a cool piece to grace your mid-century table! It's really gorgeous.
