Since pioneering the alpha servo planetary gear reducer in 1983, support and motion requirements from the market have continued to change and WITTENSTEIN is well positioned to deliver reliable products and services to its customers and partners.Position Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties such as installing, troubleshooting, repair and maintaining production equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of WITTENSTEIN's business goals and objectives. Duties/Responsibilities: · Assist Manufacturing Engineering Team with various project work for the manufacturing/production area.· Assists with regular preventive maintenance and unscheduled maintenance of production machines and equipment including CNC machining centers.· Use of mechanical, electrical, PLC and pneumatic drawings, schematics, programs to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.· Proficiency with PCs/PLCs, motion control, AC/DC and servo drive systems, instrumentation and control logic.· Assembly/disassembly shelving, assembly lines and fixtures.· Assists in installation, operation, maintenance and repair of equipment.· Assists in mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of machinery.· Assists with reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.· Assist with diagnosing problems, replaces or repairs parts, tests and makes adjustments.· Promotes a safe work environment.
