Troubleshoot, repair and perform scheduled maintenance on mechanical and electrical forklift as well as other related material handling equipment based on customer needs. Dedicated to customer satisfaction, responding in a timely, polite and professional manner. Find ways to save customers money on every repair, help them keep their equipment up and running at the lowest possible cost. Ensure we handle customers on a priority basis. Protect the value of the brand name and company image. · Follow the shop work coordinator’s direction, and make sure you communicate with them to get clear instructions on work to be performed. Follow all shop safety programs and work in areas deemed safe.· Cooperatively performs additional duties when assigned by service management.· Follow all company attendance programs.· Attend training courses as required and contributes positive and constructive feedback at company meetings.· Effectively communicates with customers, co-workers and management.· Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.· The ability to understand the necessary service and training manuals, including the ability to interpret schematics and effectively use electrical diagnostic instruments.· Keep pace with industry innovations in order to make sound recommendations to customers.· Can safely operate power tools, lifts, hoists, hydraulic jacks and overhead cranes.· Has the ability to perform strenuous and heavy work, can exert force up to 100 pounds on occasion and frequently handle loads to 50 pounds. Must have the physical stamina to perform continuously with full body motion for climbing, reaching, pushing, lifting and reaching, etc.· Work is performed in a maintenance environment with potential equipment movement hazards as well as exposure to chemicals and solvents that require knowledge of proper safety procedures· The demands of the position often exceed normal working conditions. Company workloads may require work after hours or on weekends. Qualifications 1. High School Diploma.2. Minimum 6 months experience with Repairs and Maintenance.3. Valid Drivers License with clean driving record.4. Provide own basic tools of the trade.5. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form.
