Barco Products CompanyA Division of Geneva ScientificCustomer Service is responsible for handling customer requests via phone, email, fax, mail, and voicemail. This position will be responsible for the initial contact with a customer and will assist with any questions and requests. You will help with order placement and resolving issues with existing orders.SPECIFIC RESPONSBILITIES:Answer customer phone calls.Respond to customer emails.Process incoming orders via phone, websites, email, fax, mail, and voicemail.Enter orders into the order administration system and QuickBooks.Obtain volume shipping freight quotes for orders.Contact vendors and shipping companies to research customer questions.Process order update requests. Research, resolve, and notify the customer of resolution.Process order quotes. Research and negotiate with supervisor and customer. Follow up with customer with an agreeable decision.Process vendor and shipping invoices as required.REQUIREMENTSExperience in customer service call center preferred.Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task necessary.Customer service skills – pleasant speaking voice and patient demeanor.Computer skills – Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, Business Email, and InternetMath skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentage.QuickBooks experience preferred but not required.Live chat experience a plus but not required.Accuracy and speed in Data Entry, both Alpha and Numeric is necessary.Education – High School Diploma.
