Our client, a large global services provider looking for process driven, detail focused Customer Service Representatives to work in their busy call center in the Western Suburbs. The idea candidate will have experience working in a high volume call center, be detail oriented, and comfortable gathering information quickly to properly provide customer assistance. This position may require additional research and fact finding to answer specific inquiries. Each call must be properly documented using computer based programs for tracking information. Selected candidates will have strong work ethics, a positive customer service attitude and an excellent attendance record.Duties and Responsibilities· Handle a variety of inbound calls in order to provide appropriate and accurate responses to inquiries and provide prompt resolution to caller issues.· Accurately document all calls and updates of records in proper web-based computer systems.· Escalates complaints and complex calls to management for follow up as necessary.· Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements· High School Diploma, some college preferred· Successful completion of internal three week specialized training program· 2-3 years of call center experience· Ability to pass all pre-employment testing to include spelling, grammar and typing of at least 35 words per minute.· Strong interpersonal skills· Excellent written and verbal communication skills· Ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality· Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and other computer software· Ability to meeting deadlines and complete tasks on a daily basis· Strong ability to diagnose, analyze and resolve technical issues· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently· Ability to maintain composure with upset or escalated callers· Bi-lingual Spanish is a definite plusQualified candidate should submit a current resume demonstrating recent call center experience.
