LOCATION: Home Office Based POSITION DESCRIPTION: Establish, foster and drive strong partnerships with carrier/retailer regional and district field leadership to enhance and promote brand engagement and drive overall sell-through for the region. Collaborate with carrier/regional leaders to develop and drive strategic initiatives in region to take advantage of key growth opportunities. Lead and develop a team of Area Account Managers across multiple states, whose primary role is to visit stores in an assigned region, build and maintain trusting relationships, train and engage store sales associates on products and devices, promote and advocate products and brand. Engage, inspire and motivate a team of experienced sales and training professionals to achieve assigned business targets. Conduct regular field visits within region to ensure excellence and value-add from Area Account Manager store engagements and training events. Maintain highly visible presence in designated region within assigned territory. Analyze regional sales and training data and identify trends to drive key business decisions and initiatives. Conduct quarterly market evaluation inclusive of competitive assessment and key recommendations to drive increased sales and market share in the respective region. Work with Area Account Manager to determine prioritization of store visits during optimal store-traffic periods to maximize impact and meet training objectives. Evaluate, assess and make recommendations to senior leadership based on Area Account Manager market intelligence and feedback of current business conditions. Manage and track regional performance against assigned KPIs. Analyze sales and market/territory data to provide guidance and direction for under-performing markets within region. Empower team members to demonstrate thought leadership and decision making by creating a supportive and collaborative environment. Responsible for calculating team KPIs, conducting performance reviews and disciplinary actions as appropriate in conjunction with HR policies. Directly engage in all recruiting and talent assessment efforts for open positions. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Undergraduate degree with an emphasis in Business or Marketing required. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years in sales required. Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing large teams. Retail, merchandising, analytics, sales, marketing and/or service organization experience required. Previous account management experience desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication, engagement and interpersonal skills combined with the unique ability to influence and impact key stakeholders. Outstanding presentation skills. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization. Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MapPoint, SharePoint) proficiency required. Google Drive experience preferred. Access to reliable transportation for travel within assigned territory. Internal vendor and/or client certifications as assigned. Valid driver's license in state of residence. Proof of vehicle insurance required upon request, if applicable. Remote home office environment with 50-75% travel to corporate offices, partner offices, training or convention venues and retail establishments. Overnight travel required. Potential for occasional before and after-hours work, weekend (Saturday and Sunday) work and holiday (major national) work.
