We are currently seeking a Service/Installation Technician to join our HUB Parking Technology team with residence in the Chicago, IL area.This position will perform the installation of our state of the art Parking and Revenue Control system as well as Access Control equipment. This position will also assist, as needed, in the maintenance of installed systems at client sites. Work is typically outdoors. The position will require up to 100 % regional travel via company provided vehicle. ResponsibilitiesOnsite installation of new hardware and software systems. Installation duties includes equipment bolt down, installation, wiring termination, establishing communications to software host, testing and training of new equipment under direction of a HUB Project manager.Onsite service and maintenance (as needed) for our parking and access control hardware and software. The successful candidate will possess exceptional customer relations skills, electronics field repair experience, and great mechanical skills. MS operating system knowledge, a general understanding of Network communications and MS A+ Computer Certification a plus.Overnight travel and good driving record will be required.Requirements / QualificationsCandidates must possess:Electronic Related Field Service preferredElectronics technical school training or equivalentElectronics and Mechanical hardware repair experienceExceptional customer relations and communications skillsTeamwork skillsUse of hand and power tools Consideration will be given to:MS Windows software and operating system knowledgeNetwork and/or Communication systems knowledgeMS Network and MS A+ CertificationsThis position includes a company vehicle.
