POSITION SUMMARY | The Supply Manager oversees vendor management, ordering, receiving, stocking, and distributing of all warehouse merchandise and supplies to support the company's markets. The Supply Manager also ensures that that transactions are accurately recorded in the company's ERP system. This role works closely with the company's various business channels for demand planning, coordinating order volumes, and conducting inventory counts.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |Create, maintain, and manage vendor relationshipsMaintain effective internal and external relationships and keep teams apprised of inbound/outbound movementsCreate transfer orders and inventory transfers to account for internal movement of inventoriesCreate electronic purchase orders and receive against them as goods arriveCheck incoming merchandise against packing slipsMaintain weekly inventory levels and pars for all warehouse itemsManage inventory and supply needs of various departmentsAssist with unloading and stocking merchandiseOther duties as assignedJOB REQUIREMENTS |Education/Experience:Candidate must have experience managing vendor relationships, negotiating pricing, working with inventory protocols and systems, using an ERP system, managing inventory, and operating forklifts and pallet jacks. Additionally, 2+ years of shipping and receiving experience (including parcel and freight) are required.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
