What is a Warehouse Associate?The Warehouse Associate at Technipaq is a key player in supplying our production lines with materials to keep productivity at peak levels 24 hours a day. This position is responsible for warehouse materials being delivered to and from production areas in order to meet customer promised ship dates. Warehouse Associates also track on-hand inventory of materials in order to ensure we are able to meet our customer orders every time.The Warehouse Associate is responsible for meeting material demands of our production areas by filling allocation sheets submitted to the warehouse for material supply. The Warehouse Associate will supply all production areas to include Lamination, Slitting, Press and the Converting department in our facility. The day shift Warehouse Associate has the added duty of performing an inventory count of an assigned area so we have the necessary materials on hand to produce customer orders. This position will also assist in the following:· Loading and unloading trucks· Prepping orders for shipment· Putting away used materials· The general maintenance of all warehouse areas. Warehouse Associates report to the Warehouse Supervisor but will interact with all levels of the company in order to make sure customer shipping dates are met. What skills or experience are required for the Warehouse Associate positions?Required:· High School Diploma or GED· 1-3 years of ACCIDENT FREE sit-down forklift experience in a warehouse environment· Working knowledge of basic Excel spreadsheets and MS Office software· 30+ WPM keyboarding and data entry skills· Ability to push, pull, and manipulate heavy rolls of material up to 100 lbs.· Strong basic math skills with the ability to add, subtract, divide and multiply to figure footage and lineal footage· Make and interpret measurements with a standard ruler to 1/16 of an inch· Able to bend, climb, crouch, squat, push, pull, kneel, reach, repeatedly throughout the shift· Lift up to 60 lbs. unassisted and without accommodationsPreferred:· Previous ISO experience in a manufacturing or light industrial environment· Previous shipping and receiving with preparing UPS, FedEx and Freight paperwork· Standup/reach truck experience What are the hours?We currently have a day-shift position available for Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm and a 2nd shift position available for Monday - Friday 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm.
