PRODUCTION LEAD - SHIFT LEAD - ASSEMBLY LINE LEADER

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage manufacturing, one piece flow, from start through completion.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Train new hires and temps on all line jobs.
• Work as back up to all line jobs.
• Read and understand Bill of Materials.
• Keep line supplied with materials.
• Read / Audit Blue Print.
• Communicate work progress between shifts.
• Coordinate change-overs.
• Liaison between Production Supervisors and Manufacturing Associates.
• Work with Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance, to ensure quality of Everpure products.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in Process Improvement projects.
• Maintain safe work environment by enforcing safety policies.

Requirements:

• Experience leading a group or assembly line.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak in English.
• Must be able to utilize computer.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principals preferred.
• Able to read/interprit blueprints a plus.
