Webpass is searching for an experienced Technical Support Engineer to join our team in our Chicago office.This role provides coverage Wednesday – Sunday, from 5:30pm – 2am Central. And we are growing rapidly; providing service to San Francisco, San Diego, Miami, Chicago and Boston; with more cities (and opportunities for our team) on the horizon.At Webpass, our Technical Support team is integral to supporting our customers and helping our network construction and operations teams scale to our dynamic, and rapidly growing network – now in four cities.We know what we need is unique – professionals who have experience providing technical support in a switched network environment (cat 5, switches, routers, servers, ip address configuration, etc.)Beyond technical expertise, we look for people who thrive on making customers happy, solving problems, and partnering with the team. The RoleWe are seeking Technical Support Engineers to respond to all customer tickets, resolve any issues our customers report, and work with the entire networking team to improve our network and processes. Additionally, our Technical Support team configures networking equipment before it is deployed and takes on additional projects that support the Network Ops team.It is an exciting time of growth for Webpass, and we are building a new office in Chicago, which will allow us to scale our Technical Support team and enable them to collaborate, knowledge share, and foster team-wide best practices.
