We are currently seeking a Guest Service Representative to become a part of our team! Responsible for the overall guests satisfaction through the consistently warm greeting and prompt attention to all customers.Responsibilities:Ensure complete guest satisfaction through the prompt and courteous recognition and warm greeting of customersAnswer all incoming calls to take hotel reservations, transfer calls to guest rooms, or to other requested extensions.Processes guest arrivals and departures accurately and efficientlyPlace hotel reservations in the computer system for the correct number of nights and type of roomWork closely with housekeeping to clear due outs when working the morning shift, report any guest housekeeping and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate departments for immediate and satisfactory resolutionAccurately posting charges and applicable payments to guest room accountsResponding courteously to and promptly resolving any and all guest complaints and needsCollect payment from departing guestsKeep records of occupied rooms and guestsQualifications:Previous experience in customer service, front desk service, or other related fieldsMust be computer proficientAbility to build rapport with guestsStrong organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be able to stand for extended periods of time each shift
