Description:
This project is a SQL Server 2008 upgrade. This resource will be writing scripts to automate System Administration tasks and could also be developing NEW application as well, but according to the manager it will be more writing scripts to automate.

Need a SOLID VB Script resource for Chicago HQ.

• This person will be working on the Floor remodel as it relates to the monitoring systems being instituted.
• Installs, configures and maintains the operating systems.
• Analyzes and resolves problems associated with server hardware and applications software.
• Detects, diagnoses, and reports related problems on the server.
• Duties include installing and maintaining (from a server or system perspective) operating systems, database management systems, and programming tools.
• Monitors and tunes systems software and networks for optimal performance.
• Also installs new user accounts, creates batch administration scripts and runs systems backups and disaster recovery operations.
• In order to support the MS SQL project, we will need a contractor to assist with scripting and administration of ovo applications.
Required Skills: Shell scripting, VBScript, Perl script, and Querying languages.
