Job Title: HR Analyst / HR Technology
Location: Schaumburg, IL 60196
Duration: 6+ months (Strong possibility for extension)
Job Description / Requirement:
• This position is primarily responsible for executing discreet, day-to-day activities of project work related to the HR Technology work stream of the HR Transformation program.
• These HR Technology work tasks are related to the deployment of the global Software as a Service (SaaS) HRMS (Workday) and Talent Management (Cornerstone OnDemand) solutions and specifically include overall implementation, testing and go-live ready activities.
• The individual in this position will work closely with a team of HR Technology experts and under the direction of the HR Technology program manager.
•Serve as overall testing coordinator responsible for administering test management test kits, tools and upholding incident reporting protocol:
o Develop and author detailed test scripts for functional testing according to test scenarios.
o Coordinate delivery and collection of test plans scripts and test results from testers; validate test results are documented and loaded to document repository.
o Document test incidents, escalate and report test defects to HR technology test lead and technical analyst according to test incident protocol.
o Manage test kits, schedule testers, testing resource plan.
o Confirm test results, conduct test result validation on select sample of test scenarios.
o Support development of testing training materials.
•Serve in role as HR Technology analyst to:
o Build and validate reports to be configured in Workday and Cornerstone OnDemand.
o Support collection and administration of data source identification, data consolidation and standardization for Master Data Management and data clean-up effort.
o Support data preparation, data quality review and validation effort for technical cut-over; document and track status of cut-over.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
•Minimum 3 years of functional experience in HR technology.
•Experience implementing a global HRMS solution (Software as a Service (SaaS), in particular, Workday and / or Cornerstone OnDemand a plus).
•Experience leading testing of a large scale upgrade or system implementation.
•Experience on large scale, complex technology projects.
•Project management experience.
•Experience in system testing, test methodology, test plan execution and coordination.
•Strong analytical and reporting skills.
•Understanding and experience with master data management administration and data cleansing.
•Strong understanding of HR business processes and experience supporting HR functional areas.
•Technical expertise in using Microsoft Excel for data conversion validation and data mapping.
•Ability to self-manage, manage multiple tasks, prioritize work and manage time with minimal supervision.
•Experience in defining, designing, and presenting outcome focused solutions is required.
Desired, but not required, Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
•Understanding of HR and/or employee portals, portal design and content/information architecture.
•Basic HTML programming.
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources or a related field and at least 3 years of directly related experience in Human Resources or Human Resources Technology (this is not an IT role).
