The main focus of us this job is performance engineering with the Dynatrace tool. The team is looking for experienced performance resources with monitoring tool experience (splunk/solarwinds).The team is run by the project manager that oversees the performance engineering space and the IAM (Identity Access Management) project. The manager is looking for long term contractors for the position that have in depth knowledge and experience with installation, configuration, and support/monitoring of the software.Job Description :ProjectThe tool is Dynatrace, it is an application program monitoring tool.We are currently in the process of rolling it out on OptumRx Tier-1 applications.We are in the process of building a team and we are bringing in resources that haveknowledge of how to configure, implement and work with Dynatrace.Down the road (2017) we will be deploying to Tier-2 apps.The ideal candidate will have Dynatrace experience, working in a large dynamic environment.Dynatrace is mandatory . Knowledge of Solarwinds or Nagios beneficial.Required3-5 years of monitoring experience (Splunk/Solarwinds/Nagios)2-4 years of Dynatrace experience6-8 years Performance EngineeringAbility to learn quickly in regards to monitoring tools they might not know- ( Splunk, Solarwinds, PRTG)Experience with application monitoring/ building of dashboardsExperience with configuration/implementation of monitoring tools (Dynatrace)Development experience- .net/javaThey will interview and meet with application teams and see what tool we should use to monitor certain applications.This person will also be writing requirements.Typical Hours: M-F Days, possible evening and weekends
