MBI IT Services is looking for an experienced Tier II IT Field Technicians in Chicago, IL, for a contract with the potential for continuing contract opportunities. This position requires traveling up to 100 miles one way to visit different customer sites daily but most sites will be within 30 miles of the area.MBI I.T Services is an Information Technology Services Company that has been providing services since 1995. MBI IT Services is a leading provider of end-user enablement and service experience management.Employment Type : ContractJob Responsibilities:Responsible for providing Tier II computer desktop support to field locationsWork with business units to ensure seamless integrationConfiguration, installation, troubleshooting of client hardwareArrange removal of legacy equipmentEscalate any issues as necessary to Managers immediatelyProvide professional, and excellent customer serviceQualifications:3+ years of experience in IT technical support, IT field support, or any of the following:Desktop support, IT configuration, IT installation, IT hardware/software support, IT troubleshooting, end-user support, on-site installations or replacements of hardware, software, IT diagnostic testing, help desk, or related experience.Knowledge of commonly-used IT support concepts, practices, and procedures.Desktop support experience is required.Knowledge of smart phones for communication purposes.Must have a reliable vehicle, and a smartphone with data plan is needed for the purpose of communication.Compensation : USD $19-21 per hour based on experience, mileage and some travel compensation provided.
