The Marketing Coordinator assists with daily operations of the marketing group, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. This support role coordinates meetings, logistics, trade shows and customer events out of our downtown Chicago Loop office. This individual operates as a liaison between key customers and internal personnel on customer, channel and industry events.RESPONSIBILITIES:Primary point of contact for internal customers initiating work within the department or checking the status of jobs already in progress.Assists with daily operation of the marketing group, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.Hands-on involvement in a variety of marketing logistics, including event production through booth scheduling and shipping, collateral coordination and other support.Responsible for tracking all invoices and expenses against budget and reporting regularly to Marketing Manager.Staff trade show and promotional events as needed.Assist National Account Managers in the implementation of programs at dealer and retail level.Responsibility for smaller accounts as assigned by the VP of Sales or Marketing Manager.Supports Sales and Marketing Staff by tracking and providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, and new product information.Works as a key liaison between customer service and management team to identify and communicate product or process solutions to boost profitable sales and market share.Understands and shows proficiency in the processes needed to gain product placement in both retail and e-tail environments. REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience as a Marketing Coordinator in a consumer product manufacturing environment preferred.Proficient computer skills.Experience utilizing social media and web-based product launch platforms preferred.This position requires approximately 15% overnight travel as needed.
