  • Channel Factory is looking for a dynamic and savvy media professional who is an expert in the video advertising space to provide guidance and education to our Sales Planners and will support the revenue generation of the company with their strategic media planning experience.The Sales Planning Director has a passion for strategy, creativity, and analytics! This individual has a professional demeanor and highly developed interpersonal skills that can easily establish relationships with clients and drive cooperation with internal teams.This role entails overseeing, training, and developing the Sales Planning team. Additionally, he/she will focus on evaluating, revising, and implementing new processes, sales strategies, and tactics. The Director will be accountable for monitoring the performance, workflow, and progress of each team member. The right person for this role must be very detail-oriented, a strong communicator, a problem-solver, and is adept at building and managing relationships. If you are someone who thrives in a results-driven, fun and fast-paced sales environment, then this is a great position for you. Specifically…Mentor and manage a team of Sales Planners across Channel Factory’s 3 major offices (LA, NY, CHI)Aid in team’s growth, strategic development, and media comprehensionServe as product resource for team, Sales, and clients upon second touch to CF (Sales is first touch)Oversee and ensure strategic video campaigns are developed during the pre-sales process and aligned with client KPIsLiaise with Sales, Account Management, and AdOps to ensure packages are executable and play to Channel Factory’s strengths and value propositionEnsure all proposals are quality and up to operation standardsReinforce accuracy and integrity of CRM data in Salesforce.comImplement pricing strategy as determined by the Sales Planning VPAid in strategic execution against RFPs, RFIs, and scoping new client requests/productsDevelop custom RFP response presentations that highlight Channel Factory’s core competencies and key differentiators to savvy clientsCreate systems of evaluation to ensure accuracy and timeliness of proposal generation and distributionBuild and write training materials for the departmentEstablish best practices and processes to streamline workload and communication across multiple teams and companyConstantly assess and rebuild existing processes for inefficiencies and redundanciesActively contribute and share findings across team, including past experience to inform new go-to market strategiesEvaluate Sales Planners’ performance to ensure that personal and team goals are achievedCoordinate the hiring and training of new Sales PlannersStay up-to- date with current industry news and product releases THE RIGHT CANDIDATE: QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/ATTRIBUTESBA/BS6+ years of experience at an ad tech publisher or digital media agency4+ years of managing a team is required4+ years of client management and communication is a mustIdeal candidates will have 3+ years of strategic planning associated with YouTube, Facebook, PMD, Programmatic, or Influencer campaignsBonus points if you are AdWords, YouTube, and/or Facebook certified, or an avid SalesForce user!Passion and knowledge of the online video space including marketplace trends, including 3rd party research partners, DMPs, and studiesHave an entrepreneurial spirit and is not shy about pushing for more businessEffective communication and storytelling ability with a strong POV and clear positioningStrong verbal and written presentation skills including PowerPointAdvanced knowledge of Excel calculations, pivot tables, and graphsProcess-oriented mind driven to develop best practices and help train team in a fast-paced environment and industryAble to monitor and track pipeline; identify potential business from past trends and clientsGet a rush from being a part of, and driving, the Sales cycleCreative and solution-oriented individual who can also be resourcefulA self-directed professional who knows what needs to be done and operates with a sense of urgency, focus, and disciplineAble to effectively prioritize and work with little to no supervisionHighly organized and detail oriented professionalCollaborative individual who can work in a team and independentlyDriven and determined to learn and adapt in a fast-paced digital worldAbove all, possess the highest levels of professionalism, integrity, and ethics
