Manager of Pharmacy Network ContractingPosition is open in Cleveland OhioRe-location assistance available and medical benefits paid in fullThis position will be responsible for contracting with Pharmacy Services Administration OrganizationsRESPONSIBILITIES:• Perform contract and re-contract negotiations with PSAO and other pharmacy network providers for lines of business which include but are not limited to commercial programs, government entities, health plans, 340B programs, long term care, workers compensation benefits and hospice• Track and forecast activity and verify utilization patterns across assigned pharmacies• Report on drug marketplace including new drug entrances, market acquisition changes and acquisition pricing adjustments to assist with tracking pricing• Prepare reports on provider’s quarterly business reviews• Assist sales by providing educational tools• Attend annual National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) meetings• Act as department subject matter expert on Affordable Care Act (ACA) • Conduct and/or report on special studies and investigations • Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS:• Bachelor’s degree in health administration, business or related field strongly preferred; proven industry experience will be acceptable in lieu of degree• Prior experience negotiating contracts with pharmacy chains, PSAO and independent pharmacies• Knowledge of industry experience, preferably in the healthcare, insurance or PBM industry• Experience with PBM industry including GERs, Pre to Post AWP rollback, measurable pharmacy contractual obligations, pricing modeling, and legal/governmental aspects of contracts• Excellent communications skills with all levels of an organization• A strategic planner, strong analytical skills, good judgment and strong operational focus. A well-organized and self-directed individual handling multiple priorities who is able to work with minimal amount of supervision.Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry related software programs Willingness to travel
