Searching for an experienced SICU Nurse Educator to provide consultation to nursing personnel for Med/Surg Unit. Conducts and coordinates educational experiences. The responsibilities encompass assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of competency-based orientation, clinical skills development, in-services and continuing education programs and the unit and/or department level promote a coordinated, interdisciplinary working relationship with physicians, nursing staff and other members of the health care team. He/she will additional provide nursing leadership, serving as role model for the professional registered nurse by assessing, planning, coordinating and evaluating patient care activities.

Requirements:
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois
BSN required
Must have experience providing education in a Hospital
Must have Trauma/Ortho/SICU experience
Needs to know Surgical Level II and Orthopedics
