We are seeking a Market Sales Manager to manage a team of 10 to 13 sales representatives in Chicago.The Market Sales Manager manages a team of inside and outside sales employees who work with lower income senior citizens to introduce them to medical centers that provide comprehensive primary medical care, door-to-door transportation, specialist coordination and other social services.Our patients’ expenses are generally covered by their Medicare Advantage insurance plans.When working in healthcare for seniors, important personal attributes include patience, compassion, integrity, accountability, and follow through.This role requires a strong desire to serve older adults and someone who values the mission of their work to be at least as important as their paycheck.In addition to the skills listed below, this individual needs to demonstrate solid knowledge of Medicare and Medicare Advantage as well as experience in managing a team using Salesforce.comThe Market Sales Manager is responsible for managing sales of the company’s services within a defined geographic area. He/she is responsible for ensuring consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of sales personnel. Identifies objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesManages personnel and develops sales and sales support staff.Reviews progress of sales roles throughout the company.Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in company services- patient registration.Provides quarterly results assessments of sales staff’s productivity.Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.Formulates all sales policies, practices and procedures.Assists sales personnel in establishing personal contact and rapport with key local communities serving Medicare-eligible seniors.Collaborates with Director of Sales to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines.Other responsibilities may include:Interprets short- and long-term effects on sales strategies in operating profit.Educates sales team by establishing programs/seminars in the areas of new account sales and growth, sales of emerging services and multi-service sales, profitability, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies, proper use and level of sales support, management of expenses and business/financial issues on contracts.Collaborates with Director of Sales to establish and control budgets for community event expenses.Reviews expenses and recommends economies.Holds regular meeting with sales staff.• Interaction with key internal market leaders (4M process).Other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :High advanced hands on Sales skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Expertise in Representative relations.Highly analytical/Data driven.Experience working for a large, best practice, healthcare firm (++).Coming out of Direct Marketing Organizations (++).Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.Must be able to travel at least 20% to various markets.Fluent in English.EDUCATION / SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS :•Bachelor’s Degree required, Masters preferred.Seven (7) years of Sales and Sales force management experience.Management experience in developing and growing a sales teams.Experience managing local marketing events.Direct Marketing Organizations experience is a plus.Health plan provider group experience a huge plus.Direct to Patient Sales/Marketing experience.There are five JenCare Senior Medical Centers in Chicagoland.Ashburn - 2734 W 87th Street, Chicago, IL 60652Berwyn -6326 Cermak Road, Berwyn, IL 60402Glenwood -19310 S Halsted, Glenwood, IL 60425Jeffrey Manor -2231 E. 95th Street, Chicago, IL 60617OakLawn -6101 W 95th Street, Oak Lawn, IL 60453
