Wedding Blog Writer and DOC Assistant Coordinator wanted.

As an example, I already have every Saturday in June 2017 booked, and each event is 10-12 hours, usually 9-9pm, plus, a day ahead there is wedding prep time. You will be asked to work smaller weddings 2 to 4 hours each, again mostly weekends, and in the height of wedding season you will be asked to come into the office once per week to process the mail and go to the post office for me which is an added 3 hours a week. You can expect a much heavier schedule in the summertime, and holidays then over the winter time. The assistant will always cover the office when Im on vacation which is always the week over the 4th of July, Plus other dates TBD.
The assistant DOC position handles hundreds of dollars in cash and I need someone I can depend on who wont steal from me and will show up to every wedding that they say they can work. Most weddings you work will be in my private home and garden, the little wedding venue Pine Manor. You must be able to lug the sound equipment, move 6 foot tables and set up chairs, wash and cleanup, and even occasionally clean up dog poo from the yard. Glamours maybe a lot of fun - defiantly. I love my job and I am the only wedding business like this in the state of Illinois. I have been in operation since 2011. If you want to join me and be my assistant then read on.
You are paid cash by quick-pay, or paypal upon completion of every job and will receive a 1099 at the end of the year for income taxes. There are no benefits or insurance, and I do not take taxes out of your check. You are an independent contractor. However, you will need to obtain the IL food handlers certificate which is a class on-line that I will reimburse you for when you obtain the certificate.
