They are seeking a Group Benefits, Specialist for their office located in Rolling Meadows, IL.Duties and Responsibilities:- Be able to market group clients health insurance accounts for new and existing clientele.- Provide spreadsheet for account manager for new business quotes- Provide spreadsheet for account manager reviewing current coverage and options.- Prepare and send new enrollment packages to clients- Submit new group enrollments to insurance companies- Follow-up application process to assure it is moving forward- Submit group applications to insurance carriers and follow up with membership- Update EPIC/Tam System- On line enrollments and COBRA administration- Misc. Service Issues- Misc. admin duties for producerRequirements/Experience:Good communication and Customer Service skillsThe ability to multi task and handle a large volume of items simultaneously.Good organizational skills, with high attention to detailAbility to prioritize and work independently.Able to work in a team environment.Eager to learn new tasks.3 years of group benefits experienceIllinois Life and Health license required Knowledge & Skills:Group Insurance Coverage knowledgeExcellent verbal communication, interpersonal & written skillsProficient in Word and ExcelEpic/TAM (The Agency Manager) knowledge preferred- but will train
