Senior Project Manager/Team Leader** This Position is located in California - relocation is possible Salary - to $120,000 year Our California Premier Crane Company, seeks a talented and enthusiastic Senior Project Manager to become the team leader of its Tower Crane Division. General DescriptionThe team leader will be responsible for overseeing and organizing the operations of the tower crane division, efficiently managing the division’s resources, and ensuring profitable outcomes on each project. Oversee resolution of problems with vendor billings, scheduling, and field operation effectiveness.Ensure that the division’s resources are operable and ready to deploy to effectively meet each project’s scope of work.Coordinate management of field personnel via general foremen to create a superior workforce, including:Coordinating field activates to support general foremen.Ensuring efficient deployment of equipment and human resources to meet project estimates.Coordination with foremen to ensure field paperwork is prepared and submitted to administrative personnel in a timely and accurate manner.Monitor efficient and cost effective project crew staffing levels.Establish competitive wages, approve new hires, and reward and discipline the division’s field force.Ensure that all project-related training and certification is undertaken and obtained by field personnel.Oversee the health and safety program as they relate to the Tower Division projects.Coordinate with training facilitator and safety consultant to administer an effective safety program to prevent and manage losses.Ensure safe functionality of all Tower Division equipment.Coordinate investigation of field incidents.Prepare reports and commentary to Executive Team as necessary or requested.Attend pre-con meetings, Cal OSHA pre-erection, and jobsite meetings as needed. Qualified candidates will possess the following:A high level of detail and organization;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;Proficient knowledge of MS Office, Gmail, Bluebeam, and other complex computer programs;Ability to read plans and blueprints as well as draft layouts and take-offs;Ability to analyze contract terms and conditions;A proven track record of management success. Education and ExperienceUndergraduate degree desired but not necessarily required.Five years experience as a senior project manager or equivalent managerial level position.Experience with the crane industry very helpful but not necessarily required.
